My family spends a pretty decent amount of time on the road going to see family as far away as 18 hours. We have two boys who sit in the back seat and bicker about who gets to use which device and when, which is exacerbated when batteries start to run dry. My car is a bit older and doesn't have USB charging or even a power port in the back seat, so this retractable cable has been a perfect fit. I ran the wire under my center console up to the dash to supply the power and the retractable cord stows away neatly when not in use. It provides plenty of power to supply a quick charge to devices instead of trickle charging like many other 12v power supplies do. I would highly recommend it!

These back seat 2 in 1 retractable chargers are good the for the people at the back. It can be easily installed in any headrest that can be lifted or tesla on the back rest. The connector can be connected via usb c or via cigarette plug. The main downside why I give 4 stars is that when you. try to retract the cables, and did not hold the cable it will retract super fast and seems dangerous and could potentially damage or hit something or even break the cable in the long run. This is a design flaw and should be corrected soon so it should retract slower or smoother.

Handy to provide charging ability to the back seat when there is no charger already there to connect to. Tidies up nice when done charging.

I use this in my large SUV. My son uses an iPhone and my daughter has a Samsung tablet. This provides enough power to keep them both charged up and I don't have to deal with it, lol. They can help themselves.

I mounted to the passenger seat and ran the cable between console and seat for a "clean" look. Decent quality plastic, but works well.

I first saw one of these while riding in an Uber in Hawaii, and knew it would be a great idea to get one for my own passengers. This product comes with just about everything imaginable in the box! Mount for the headrest post? It's in there. Alternate mount for a Tesla seatback? You got it. Power supply cable to plug into USB-C port? All set. Cigarette lighter adapter in case your car doesn't have a port? In the box!

Each of the charging cords glows at the tip so it's easy to spot at night, pulls cleanly out of the holder, and retracts OK. I wish they retracted a little more seamlessly; if you don't take a moment to do it right, you'll end up with a dangling cable. That's especially an issue in the back seat of a rideshare car with random passengers who haven't practiced, and where the driver can't easily help or fix it before the next passenger gets in.

Both the Lightning connector (for all but the most recent iPhone models and AirPods cases) and the USB-C connector (for new iPhones and most recent Androids) work fine. The only thing missing is a micro-USB connector for older Android phones.

The biggest thing I don't love about this product is that the little adhesive clips intended to hold the power supply cable to the side of the seat, or whatever you need to affix it to, are too small and not quite sticky enough. These didn't hold the cable in place very long. But, there are other ways to solve that problem. A small piece of electrical tape or two should do the trick.
