So Useful

Easy to install on the back of the headrest. At first we thought that some of the devices wouldn't fit in the holder, but upon further investigation, there's a button on the back that allows it to stretch and extend even farther than we thought. It is so convenient to have the built-in retractable chargers, and we use it almost every day. At first we thought that one of the two charging chords was not working, because the C type chord was lit up and the Lightning was not, but when we plugged a device into the lightning, it lit up and worked just fine. Not sure if the lightning is supposed to have the light on all the time, or whether the c is supposed to go off when nothing is charging. Either way it's not a deal breaker because both chargers still work perfectly, it's just peculiar.

Perfect Amenity for an Uber Driver!

This backseat car charger station is perfect for rideshare drivers - a nice amenity for travelers like me, always running around with a phone thats about to die. I love how its out of the way yet easily accessible and the retractable cords help preserve a tidy appearance. Then having the ability to have it hold your screen is an added plus; folks can easily stream on their phones in cars without such built-ins, or whatever they may want or need handsfree, as a guest in your car. The car charger station is easy to use and install, and is also a great value.

I love this thing so much!!!

My boys have different phone types. One is team iPhone and the other is team android. This has a built in charging cable for each of those.
The cables can reach them both easily while they're both on the second row of the car.
There's a blue light letting you know that there's power going to the charger. So you know that it's plugged into a working outlet. The charging time is relatively quick.
I haven't used the phone holder part yet. But it seems sturdy.
I'd definitely recommend this. Especially if you take frequent road trips.

Worth it even if I feel like it's instantly obsolete with a lightning connector. allow me to explain

I still have an iphone with a lightning connector. The wife has the newest one with a usb-c plug. So, technically we would both be able to use it for our phones. The problem is we aren't the ones in the back seat. The rugrats are in the back seat with ipads that both use usb-c. So, one gets a retractable cord and the other uses a regular cord out the side.

What's really frustrating is that I ALREADY HAVE two usb-c outlets built into the center console that probably cost me an extra $600 when I bought the car but the low plugs always, ALWAYS, get kicked and then the $30 cords are broken in short order.

So I guess what I'm saying is that this thing has enough outlets up top to keep the kids from practicing their power kicks (that's what all the six year olds are saying on the soccer field) in the car on our charge cords.

Does that make sense?

Can you tell I have two small children? We only even use the ipads on long trips, but the cords are a fixture in the car, ready when we need them. End rant.

great concept, good implementation, needs a longer cord.

This is pretty neat. My kids are terrible about getting their charging cables up off the floor of the van so a retractable one is totally the way to go. I saw this and got excited about the possibilities.

The phone holder adjusts to fit pretty much any size phone (or even tablet!) firmly.

You don't realize how short 55 inches is until you try to plug this into the outlet in the back of the van. Reader, it did not reach by a few feet. I ended up having to buy an extension cable and chain them together because the end of this that goes into the charging station is a small barrel type and I didn't trust myself to measure it and then find a longer one.

I wish there was an off switch on the charger station. The outlets in my vehicle do not turn off with the ignition so I have to remember to unplug this at the end of every trip.
